General Information
AIC Touch Football - Saturday 25 October
We are seeking student EOI's for the annual AIC Touch Football carnival. This event is for Year 5-11 students who have touch football playing experience. EOI's will close on Friday 19 September. To register, please click here.
Track & Field
With Trimester 3 sports training wrapped up, it is time for Wildcats to step up in green and gold – 25 days to train hard, get to one or two sessions this week plus Wednesday night’s meet and be ready to represent Villa at the AIC Track & Field Championships.
Track & Field Monday and Wednesday Middle Distance training will occur at Little Langlands. All other athletes will train Monday and Tuesday at Villa Park. Students are to prepare for this Wednesday's 17 September, lead-up meet (schedule attached) at the State Athletics Facility, Nathan.
Week 10 Gym Schedule
All morning and afternoon gym sessions can be attended by all students as part of the LTAD Program, except for Friday morning when the gym is unavailable.
Training Schedules - Term 3, 2025
AIC Track & Field Meet 4, Wednesday 17 September
Please find attached the printable program for the upcoming AIC Track & Field Meet 4, scheduled for Wednesday, 17 September at the State Athletics Facility (SAF).
Travel Details:
- Years 5 & 6: Depart Villanova College by bus at 2:15PM from the front of the College. Return by 5:00PM.
- Years 7–12: Depart by bus at 3:00PM. Return by 7:40PM.
App notifications will provide updates if there are any changes to these times.
Student Pick-Up Option: Students may be collected directly from QSAC (SAF) at the conclusion of their events. Parents must sign out their child with Mr. Lund (Athletics Coordinator) before departure.
Uniform Requirements: Students are to wear the Villanova athletics uniform. These can be purchased from the Uniform Shop.

The full Term 3 training schedule – including Weeks 2 to 9 – has now been published to Student Cafe and Parent Lounge.
Please note: a revised schedule has applied from Week 2 onwards, with fewer sessions held at the Clem Jones Centre following the completion of trials.
If any changes or cancellations occur, the Villanova College app will be updated accordingly.

Term 3 Initiatives (user pays)
Term 4 Speed & Agility Program
Registrations are now open via Parent Lounge – the program begins in Week 1 of Term 4.
Open to all students in Years 5 to 8, the cost is $160 for 8 sessions delivered by Matty Scott and elite-level coaches.
Details:
• Days: Tuesday mornings ONLY
• Time: 7:00am to 8:00am
• Venue: Whinstanes Oval
• Start Date: Week 1 – Tuesday 7 October.
This is a great opportunity to build speed, coordination and confidence in a dynamic and supportive setting.
