To support students in balancing academic responsibilities with co-curricular commitments, the following expectations apply during College Exam Blocks.
Years 11 and 12:
It is a College expectation that students are not permitted to compete in trial matches during Exam Block or on the day immediately prior to an exam (purely for trials scheduled Monday to Friday).
• Year 12 students completed their exams today and may resume trials and full participation after this week. The Year 12 Retreat will take place from Wednesday to Friday this week.
• Year 11 students enter Exam Block next week and are therefore unable to participate in trial matches during this period.
• Training attendance for Years 11 and 12 students is encouraged where possible. If a student is unable to attend training, he should notify the relevant Sports Coordinator in advance of the training session.
Year 10 and Younger:
Students in Year 10 and younger grades are encouraged to prioritise their academic studies during Exam Block while continuing to attend training sessions or trials where appropriate.
• Year 10 students enter Exam Block next week and should manage their commitments accordingly.
Communication:
If a student is unable to attend a training session or trial during these exam periods, families are asked to notify the relevant Sports Coordinator and team coach as soon as possible.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our co-curricular sports programs.
