Villanova College’s enrolment procedures involve assessing the particular applicant’s needs, as well as establishing alignment between the beliefs and goals being promoted by the College and those of the applicants and their families.
Places are available in all year levels. If you are seeking entry for 2019, please submit a completed online Enrolment Application as soon as possible. It is imperative that you ensure your son’s application is fully completed (with all aspects of the requested documentation) and kept up to date as new information becomes available.
Periodically places become available in other year levels and we recommend families contact us as soon as possible when looking to enrol their sons as these spaces fill quickly. Please contact the Enrolments Office for more information on 07 3394 5593 or email email@example.com for an application that falls outside of usual timeframes.
Most enrolments at Villanova College occur in Year 5 and 7 with vacancies also available in other Year levels. The standard enrolment process for Year 5 or 7 commences two years prior to the intake year.
If you are seeking a place in 2021 or later for any year level, please ensure that you have formally expressed interest by placing your son’s name on the Enrolment Register. You will then be alerted once the enrolment process commences for your son’s prospective intake year.
Step 1. Place your son on the Enrolment Register
To register your interest in enrolling your son at Villanova College for 2021 or beyond, please complete the Enrolment Registration form.
You will receive a confirmation email once your registration has been processed and your son’s details will be placed on the College database.
Registration will only be accepted once your son has commenced Prep or Year 1.
If you have missed the initial intake process for your son’s intake year, please proceed directly to Step 2 and submit an application as a matter of urgency.
Interested families on the Prospective Enrolments Register are notified once the application period opens for a particular year group, usually two years prior to the year of commencement for places in Year 5 or Year 7. Parents of students not on the register can seek further information by contacting our Enrolments Office.
The application package is now online, and contains an application form, details of the application fee, reference pro forma, current fee schedule, privacy statement and a letter listing all documentation required. The application must be returned with all the required documentation, otherwise it cannot be processed.
All applicants are invited to attend an enrolment interview with their family and will be notified once all interviews have been completed and applications reviewed.
Please note: If your son has additional Learning Support requirements it is important that you disclose all available information regarding his learning needs with your application. As part of our enrolment application process the Learning Support Team will also be required to fully review your son’s application. In many instances, they will seek further permission (via an EAP Consent Form) to contact your son’s current school and other learning support specialists. This process is critical to enable a full understanding of how we can best cater to your son’s specific learning needs, and ensure a match with the capacity of our Learning Support team. Developing a sense of partnership and transparency in this process is critical for success.
Step 3. Enrolment Agreement and Confirmation of Enrolment
An Enrolment Agreement and Enrolment Acceptance Form will be sent to successful applicants and must be returned to the College within the required timeframe with the Confirmation of Enrolment fee in order to secure the place. If an offer is unable to be confirmed in time it will lapse, and we will need to go to our waitlisted applicants to make the next offer. For this reason, if we are unable to make an offer to your family in the first instance, please be aware that your son’s application will be kept on the waitlist and regularly reviewed as spaces continue to become available. We would urge you to ensure you keep the College up to date with regard to your son’s application and submit any new reports or information that is relevant to your son’s learning.
