Villanova College is an independent Catholic school for boys from Year Five to Year Twelve conducted by the Order of St Augustine. The Augustinians are a religious community of priests and brothers who have been involved in Education for over 600 years, conducting schools and universities in nearly every part of the world.

Love of learning and understanding are part of the tradition of the Order. Another key element of the Augustinian tradition is mutual support offered within a Christian community. The reason for the school's existence is the education of members of the Catholic community in the context of their Christian faith.

QCMF - 25 years of Celebrating music in Catholic Education

13 - 16 August, 2015

Villanova College is once again proud to host the 25th annual QCMF.

From its inception as a dream of Keith Druery's, where students from 12 Catholic Schools came together in 1991 to share their musical talents, QCMF has evolved into a four-day celebration of all that is music in Catholic Education.

In 2015, Villanova College will host over 13,000 student performances and in excess of 20,000 visitors across 6 performance venues.  This event has grown into the largest of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region.  QCMF is a stalwart in the calendar of Catholic Education in Queensland and Australia, and is beginning to garner interest from schools internationally.
