Villanova College prides itself on delivering tailored learning for boys of all ages including Junior, Middle and Senior schooling. From focusing on peer friendships and self-esteem for the challenging stage Junior students face, and fostering engagement and community pride in years 7, 8 and 9, to meeting the individual needs of Senior students with a program of courses and electives, Villanova is committed to learning at all stages.
Villanova's Augustinian approach to Pastoral Care aims to foster personal development and self-discipline in every student. We achieve this through supportive relationships between students and their parents, teachers and fellow classmates. The College offers an experienced Pastoral Care team, character-building camps, student leadership programs, and a Restorative Practices philosophy for discipline and behaviour management.
Villanova understands the importance of engaging students outside of the normal curriculum and providing an environment where they feel supported, involved and challenged. With cultural programs such as chess and debating; ministry groups that promote fundraising and community involvement; the Villa-Fit Program, which motivates students in athletics and physical health; and inclusive and extensive music and sports programs, there is something for every student.
As technology continues to advance, we believe it is integral to the learning process and should be used effectively to enhance classroom education. Our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program marks a new phase in the College’s growth, providing the benefits of tech-rich learning to all students. We also offer the online system, Flexischools, for easy payments at the Tuckshop, Uniform Shop and other outlets. Connect with Villanova on Facebook and Twitter.
