The Villanova College Foundation is the philanthropic heart of the College, dedicated to fostering a culture of generosity and support. Guided by the Augustinian values of humility, interiority, community, and the search for truth.
The Foundation plays a vital role in strengthening the College’s mission and helps provide meaningful opportunities to make a difference to future generations of Villanovans.
Re-established in 2019 as a sub-committee of the College Board, the Villanova College Foundation is entrusted with the stewardship of the College’s three Trust Funds: the Building Fund, the Terry Hendle Bursary Fund, and the Wieneke Family Music Fund.
The Foundation enhances the College’s mission by supplementing school funding through tax deductible philanthropic support, grants, and corporate support from our community for projects that enhance opportunities and support for students. These funds directly impact students by creating new opportunities and ensuring broader access to a Villanova education.
An essential part of the College community, the Foundation helps deliver life-changing bursaries to students who might otherwise be unable to attend Villanova. Through the Building Fund, it also plays a critical role in funding capital works that shape the campus for future generations of Villanovans.

Villanova College Foundation was re-established in 2019 as a sub-committee of the College Board to be responsible for the management of the three Trust Funds of the College – Terry Hendle Bursary Fund, Wieneke Family Music Fund, and the Building Fund.
The Foundation plays an integral role in the College in supporting current and future students through raising funds and dispersing bursaries to assist students and their families who may not otherwise be able to afford a Villanova education. Through the Building Fund, the Foundation helps to raise much needed funds to support the College’s capital projects, to prepare for the next generation of Villanovans. The Foundation supplements school funding through tax deductible philanthropic support, grants, and corporate support from our community for projects that enhance opportunities and support for students.
