AIC Year 5-12 Rugby & Football Trials Continue This Week!!!

  • Please read the latest press release from the AIC Management Committee with regards to restrictions during the up-coming AIC Cross Country, Chess, Rugby Union and Football seasons – AIC Statement August 10 2020
  • AIC Cross Country information including the team list and championship details is now posted in the AIC Cross Country section.
  • AIC Track & Field information including training details is now posted in the AIC Track & Field section.
  • All Year 5-12 Rugby & Football trials continue this week. Please go to the respective AIC Rugby or AIC Football sections for specific times and venues.
  • Date Claimer – Villanova v St Patrick’s College Rugby and Football Trials, Friday 14 August. The schedule is now posted in the Weekly Fixture section. Team lists will not be posted until Wednesday 12 August.
  • Note – only 2 parents/guardians per player are permitted to attend any AIC Rugby or AIC Football game throughout the season. Please consult the Covid Site Plans found in the Weekly Fixture section for all drop off and pick up points, entry and exit paths etc.
  • Season schedules are now posted in the respective AIC Rugby and AIC Football sections. These schedules contain information regarding trials, important trial and regular season dates, coaches contacts, uniform requirements plus much more.

Recently the Government released a document entitled the ‘Queensland Government Roadmap to Easing Queensland’s Restrictions’ (posted below).

This roadmap outlines a staged approach to giving Queenslanders more freedom to travel, participate in more activities and hold more gatherings. This includes some limited information about the return of community sporting events as well.

The road map outlines 3 gradual stages. At each stage the restrictions are eased more and more. This document outlines the type of restrictions the government will put in place at each stage and more specifically, what activities and numbers are permissible.
