ROCK LANDFORMS of Australia & New Zealand

Sedimentary landforms have formed from 'fragments'
These 'fragments' may vary in size, and are either particles from earlier rocks, the remains of living things or chemical evaporites. A significant portion of the surface of Australian is covered by this rock type. Particularly attractive examples are found in Central Australia, the Carnarvons (Qld), around Sydney, and the Shipwreck Coast (Vic).
This section of ROCK LANDFORMS of Australia and New Zealand will illustrate key aspects of sedimentary geomorphology through pictures, text and sketches.
