Congratulations to the Senior Class of 2007!
Congratulations to the Senior Class of 2007 on their
excellent OP results. Three students, Gian Sparti, Viren Jayawardana and Liam
Brennan, each received a well-earned OP 1. Almost half of the students received
OPs in the 1-10 range.
In the QTAC offers for further study, over 96% of
students applying received an offer, most for their first preference. Of the 103
offers made to Villanova students, 90 were for university places and the
remaining 13 were to TAFE Institutes.
Special congratulations go to Gian Sparti
(Dux of the College, 2007) who has been named as a recipient of the Lord
Florey Students Prize. This award, formerly known as the Australian
Students Prize, recognises the achievement of the Top 500 Senior Students
from across Australia. This is an outstanding achievement and Gian's prize
brings the number of Villanova students to have been honoured in this way in
